Filippo Menichetti was born in Florence, Italy, in 1986.

In 2009, after graduating in Psychology at La Sapienza of Rome he decided to entirely embrace photography attending a master's degree in photojournalism and reportage to the Scuola Romana di Fotografia in Rome, where he had the chance to be formed by renowed photographs as Massimo Mastrolillo and Lina Pallotta.

In 2012 he founded the collective PanAut with other authors of the Danish School of Media and Journalism where he graduated with "What Remains - meditations on a landscape", produced on the West Coast of Denmark. In late 2013 he moved to Naples (IT), where he begin the collaboration with the photographer and video maker Martin Errichiello.

In 2016, following a residency promoted by the platform The Third Island, he started the project “ In Quarta Persona: 1960- 2018 ”, a multilayered collaborative research, a mixed media installation and a book about Italy’s last 50 years of political history (1960 - 2018).

Moved to Paris in 2018, he start collaborating with french theatre comapanies (such as Compagnie Alia, Le Théâtre du Peuple Lìe and FixPoint) and architectures and interior design studios and brand (Cairepro, BnB Italia, Archlinea). Since 2012 he is the official photographer of the french-italian festival of cinema France Odeon.

He now lives and work in Barcelona.
